Diagnosed as a Type 2 diabetic in early 2008 at the age of 27.81, this blog communicates my experiences in dealing with the disease. Although my father was diagnosed with diabetes a few years prior, and my mom’s mother had it as well, I never imagined myself getting the disease — at least not so young, and especially since I didn’t like to eat “sweets” like they did. Obviously, I was extremely ignorant about the disease.
Through this blog, I hope to enlighten myself as well as others on what diabetes is, how to reduce your risk of getting it, how to manage it on a daily basis if you have it, and how to beat diabetes.
